Summer parking at Clumber Park

A busy Clumber Park on Bank Holiday Weekend

This summer we will continue to monitor informal parking arrangements at Clumber Park in order to look after this special place. We want to continue to provide convenient and plentiful parking while protecting the Park and its habitats for future generations.

We have recently carried out a parking trial in a different area of the park and this has given us a lot of information which we will use and add to in the coming months.

For those visitors who visited the Park during this trial, we are extremely grateful for your input, ideas and feedback.  We will continue to engage with visitors as we progress our parking and traffic management plan.

During June 2018 we will be re-opening some areas around the Cricket Ground for parking.  We will be monitoring these areas closely and will close and re-open areas throughout the summer to allow natural regeneration in these locations.

One or two other areas of informal grass verge parking will be closed to cars as we allow these areas to recover.  While we make final decisions on which areas we will use for parking in the future, we warmly welcome feedback from all of our visitors.

You can send us your ideas, comments and observations by email to Clumberparkrevitalised@nationaltrust.org.uk by completing a comment card during your visit, or by talking to a member of the team. Thank you.
