Volunteering at Clumber Park

If you are thinking about volunteering there are so many ways to get involved: share your skills, learn something new, meet great people and know you are contributing to the future of a beautiful place.

Work experience and Internships

We offer work experience placements to people at different stages in their education and careers and have placements in most of our teams throughout the year.

Internships and full-time volunteer placements are a great way of trying out different roles, and taking the chance to work with, and learn from, our experts.

Corporate and award volunteering

Volunteering with the Trust can contribute towards many goals. Use your experience to work towards a Duke of Edinburgh award or organise Corporate Volunteer Days.

Employer-supported volunteering (ESV) is for business and public sector employers wishing to make a difference. Employee groups can come an enjoy days of conservation tasks to support our work and enjoy team building.

Working holidays

Working holidays are a great way to support the conservation of our special places. Here at Clumber, we offer around 12 holidays a year that are based with our rangers, collections and gardens teams.

Groups get the chance to stay in our onsite Bunkhouse and to experience our work from a different perspective.

Join our team

We have a dedicated team of regular volunteers who enjoy varied roles and there are plenty of ways for you to get involved.

Soak in the great outdoors whilst helping people enjoy their day as a visitor guide, help others find a perfect gift as a retail assistant or join our Little Acorns team and help inspire children on their visit.

We are always looking for people with specialist skills: a language skill, natural history specialism or a creative flair.
