Our holiday cottages in film and TV
From Jane Eyre to Poldark, our holiday cottages have featured in much-loved films and TV shows. Book a stay at one of these cottages and you can retrace the footsteps of the stars.
Discover Poldark's Cornwall
Many of the places we care for in Cornwall star in the BBC’s enthralling adaptation of Winston Graham's much-loved Poldark novels. Discover the turbulent seascapes, secret coves and rich mining history when you stay in Poldark territory.
Explore the world of Harry Potter at Lacock
A number of magical scenes from the Harry Potter series were filmed in Lacock Abbey and Village in Wiltshire, including parts of The Philosopher’s Stone (2001), The Chamber of Secrets (2002) and The Half Blood Prince (2009). Stay in our Lacock timber-frame cottage, 2 High Street, which was also used to house Judi Dench and Imelda Staunton for the filming of costume drama Cranford.
Go behind the scenes of Game of Thrones
Based on the best-selling novels by George R.R. Martin, the TV show ‘Game of Thrones’ charts the brutal power struggle between seven fictional kingdoms. In reality much of the action took place in Northern Ireland, where our places such as Castle Ward, provided a perfect backdrop to the drama.
Experience the romance of Jane Eyre
Our holiday cottage White Edge Lodge in Derbyshire made a star turn in the 2011 adaptation of Jane Eyre with Michael Fassbender and Jamie Bell. The lodge featured as the home of the Rivers family who take in a troubled Jane after she flees from Mr Rochester.
