Challenge yourself to an active adventure at Sheringham Park

Sheringham Park was designed by Humphry Repton with impressive views in mind. With 1000 acres of parkland and woodland to explore, it is an outdoor playground for all ages. The whole family can get active whilst enjoying inspiring sea views, bucket loads of fresh air and natural highlights at every turn.

Feeling the sun on your face with a morning walk through the parkland, running through a soft bed of pine needles and breathing in the natural woodland scents or hiking down to the beach to listen to the sounds of crashing waves – whichever route you take, you will leave feeling rejuvenated.

If you want to challenge yourself to get fitter or spend more time in nature's playground, it’s easy to do so when you feel inspired to explore a magical natural setting. Whether you run, hike, cycle or walk, get outdoors and discover the beauty of Sheringham Park.

With challenging hills and varied terrrains, there’s a lot more to trail running than how fast you run or how far you go. Running on our trails gives runners of all abilities the chance to get close to wildlife and escape the noise of your everyday life.

Our 5km Trail

Our 5km active route is based on the Sheringham Parkrun route. While we cannot host our weekly Parkruns at the moment, there's nothing stopping you from testing your form and performance by running, walking or jeffing it anyway!

By joining the National Trust, you could enjoy a healthier and more active lifestyle all year round, while helping to care for the wild and precious places outside your window - for everyone, for ever.
