Autumn in the garden
The colourful flower borders beds last long into the autumn and until the first frost, while the native woodland and garden trees turn to orange and red.
Falling leaves provide the perfect opportunity for some good family fun: leaf art on the lawn and crunching leaves underfoot in the wood.
Autumn is a great time to check off several of your 50 things to do before you're 11 ¾. Try catching a leaf as it falls from a tree or create some natural art from treasures you collect from the ground. If it's a wet day then you can have fun splashing in puddles or collecting rain drops.
