Christmas shopping at Sizergh

Christmas food selection

Sizergh’s first gift shop was opened by Mrs Strickland way back in the 1970s, when she partitioned off a corner of the Great Barn to create a retail space. Find out what we’ve got on sale today in our newer shop.

Outdoor heaven

We stock the complete range of National Trust garden and outdoor gifts, as well as a large selection of local books, maps and walks leaflets relating to Sizergh and the Lake District.

Whether you’re a mountain biker or dog walker, a family with young children or a serious hiker, there’s something to tempt you outdoors and closer to nature.

Garden party

And if it’s gardening that you enjoy, we have a range of peat-free herbaceous perennials and ferns, reflecting our beautiful limestone rock garden.

A local shop

Over the years we've sold gifts from many local businesses such as Herdy, Claire’s Handmade and the Bath Shop, all of whom have gone on to have national and even international success. There’s a lot of talent in Cumbria and every year we aim to showcase something new.

Seasonal flavours

Our shop has three distinct seasons for spring, summer and autumn/winter. From fresh florals, to coastal blues and through to sumptuous Christmas delights, there's always something new for you, your friends and family.

Every penny of profit we make is used to support our conservation work. So when you purchase something, not only are you buying a beautiful gift, but you're also supporting a really good cause!
