February half term fun at Standen

Keep the kids occupied this half term with winter trails, strolls through crispy fields and warm up with a hot drink in Barn Café. Open daily for half term activities from Saturday 15 February to Sunday 23 February 2020.

This February half term, escape to Standen for some winter fun. We have an exciting ‘Bright Sparks’ trail for children inspired by Standen’s electrical history and plenty more to see in the house. If you'd rather enjoy the fresh air you can take a stroll through our gardens or head out across the crisp frosty fields into the surrounding woodland and even tick off some of your 50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾. And don't forget that if the weather is not on your side, Barn Café is open all week for tasty treats. 

Half Term Bright Sparks trail

Are you switched on this February half term and ready to have fun on the Bright Sparks trail at Standen? Follow the map around the garden to discover all about electricity in the Victorian times, how it was brand new and exciting and how Standen was one of the first houses to be built with electricity. Small prize at the end.

£2 per child with prize, 11am-3pm. Normal admissin applies. Suitable for ages 4+

Head out on a winter walk then warm up in the café with hot food and drink

Garden, cafe and shop open daily from 10am-5pm. House open 11am-4.30pm (last entry 4pm).
