October half term: Sussex folklore and fairytale trail
Grab those wellies and woolly hats and set off on the Sussex folklore trail this October half term. Let your imagination run wild with stories of mythical beasts and fairy-tale folklore. From dragons and ghouls to pixies and fairies this autumn the mysterious legends of Sussex folkore will be brought to life in the garden at Standen. Getting out and about
Enjoy the fresh air and take a stroll through the garden or head out through crunchy leaves into the surrounding woodland where you'll find an array of autumn colour. Within the wider estate there's plenty of opportunity to run around and tick off some of your 50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾.
Don't forget, if the weather's not on your side, Barn Café is open all week for tasty treats and hot chocolates to indulge in. You can now sit inside if spaces are available.
