Products made locally are also available in the shop, including Sussex-based Auntie Val’s marmalades, chutneys and jams made without artificial flavours or preservatives, Goupie chocolates hand-produced by a small team in Kent, and Plumpton Estate wines plus products from The Garden Cider Company.

Plant centre

The plant centre offers a range of garden accessories and seasonal plants inspired by original plants from Mrs Beale's garden, including bulbs in the spring to rhubarb and William Morris inspired pots.

Secondhand books

For keen bookworms, pop into the secondhand bookshop in the old apple store and pick up a bargain book to enjoy at home. All proceeds will go towards conservation projects at Standen.
