During October we will be celebrating the produce harvested from the Kitchen garden with tastings, demonstrations and sharing seasonal recipes for you to try at home. Discover the produce grown in the Kitchen Garden with tastings of apples, pears, cucumbers and blackberries. Friday 6, 13, 20 & 27 October, 11am-12noon & 2-3pm. No booking required, normal admission applies.

Day in the Life Weekend

Discover how the house would have been used by the Beales and servants at Standen. Saturday is Apple day where you can help turn apples grown in the orchard in to juice and taste the different varieties. On Sunday we welcome David Tas the last farmer at Standen to share his stories of how the farm was run. Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 October, 10am-4pm. Normal admission applies.

Calling all budding photographers! This outdoor photography workshop, led by Roger Bloxham, is a perfect opportunity to learn how to capture the beautiful autumn colour in Standen's garden. Thursday 12 & Wednesday 18 October, 8am-3pm. £45pp booking essential.
