Visiting Wimpole Estate: What you need to know

Whether you're a regular visitor or it's your first time, we can't wait to welcome you to Wimpole Estate. Take a look at our handy guide on what you need to know to help plan your day.
What's open?
The gardens, parkland, Hall and Home Farm are open daily. Please check the opening times page on our website for all our opening hours.
Toilets facilities are available at Hardwicke Gate and Home Farm from 9.30am to 4pm and at the Hall from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
Please note, the Adventure Playground is closed.
Accessibility
We want everyone to feel welcome at Wimpole and hope this page will help to plan your visit. However, we understand that every visitor has individual needs, so if there’s anything else you would like to know or anything we can help with, please just ask a member of the team.
Accessible parking is available in our main car park, please follow the signs on arrival. Accessible toilet facilities are available at our main visitor entrance at Hardwicke Gate and at Home Farm. To help you plan your visit, here are the distances and walking times for getting around the estate from our main car park:
Welcome Building: 160m, 2 minute walk
Stables Cafe, Shop and Toilets: 600m, 5 - 7 minute walk
Hall: 800m, 10 - 12 minute walk
Our main estate paths are hard-surfaced with accessible gradients and a number of resting points.
We have two wheelchairs available to hire from our Visitor Welcome at Hardwicke Gate, between 9.30am and 4pm. For visitors with access needs, we are able to offer a buggy service, running from the car park to the Stables, House, Walled Garden and Farm. Please speak to the member of the team to confirm availability on the day.
We have 5 mobility scooters available to hire for visitor with access needs, allowing more people to explore the wider estate. We'd recommend booking in advance to ensure we have availability, you can book over the phone on 01223 206000 or email us.
