Christmas at Bodnant Garden
At Bodnant Garden we have 80 acres of winter wonderland for the whole family to explore and a warm, festive welcome in our tearooms.
The garden is open all year-round (apart from Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day) and is a magical space to immerse yourself in nature, grab some fresh air and exercise and enjoy that quality time with family and friends which we've all missed in recent times.
There's a walk to suit everyone: Take a short stroll in the formal gardens and breathe in the sights and scents of the designed Winter Garden, follow the sound of water along the paths leading down to the Dell and Far End, or try a trek up to Furnace Woods for some spectacular views across the Conwy Valley. You can bring your dogs every day too.
Children can enjoy an adventure following our self-led trail, themed around the popular Percy the Park Keeper stories by Nick Butterworth. Join Percy and his animal friends for a winter wander in the garden during December and give nature a helping hand. Follow the clues, have fun with some winter activities along the way and claim a prize at the end. See our What's On page for more details.
The wjhole family can warm up with a range of festive food at the Pavilion and Magnolia tearooms and Dell takeaway kiosk. We're also serving Festive Afternoon Teas in the Pavilion every day in December (excluding December 24-26 when the garden and tearoom are closed). See our What's On page for more details about booking this special treat, and for more details about Percy the Park Keeper's Winter Wander.
Our neighbours Bodnant Garden Centre offer a huge range of Christmas cards, decorations and gifts including plants, and of course Christmas trees and wreaths. What’s more there’s a unique collection of local arts and crafts products at Bodnant Craft Centre.
However you are spending your Christmas 2021 we wish you joy, health and happiness.
