Christmas at Bodnant Garden
Christmas is a magical time at Bodnant Garden. Enjoy walks in a frost-sparkling landscape, bring the children to meet Santa and the elves, discover traditional gifts at the shop and hearty, festive fare in our tearooms.
Bodnant Garden is open all year-round (apart from Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day) and is the perfect place to escape the high street for some traditional family together-time.
The star on our tree is the Elves’ Workshop, now in its fourth successful year. Drop in at the Old Mill in the Dell and enjoy making Christmas decorations to take home, followed by toasted marshmallows by the roaring brazier outside.
The Elves' Workshops will be running every Saturday and Sunday on December 3 and 4, December 10 and 11, December 17 and 18 and on Monday and Tuesday, December 19 and 20, from 10.3oam to 2.30pm (free of charge).
There is also our famous garden to explore; soak up 80 beautiful acres including the seasonal highlights of the Winter Garden. You can bring your dogs every day from November until the end of February too. For refreshment after all that activity there are lunches served daily in our Pavilion Tearoom, or enjoy hot and cold snacks at the kiosk in The Dell beside the brazier at weekends.
The National Trust Gift shop and Bodnant Garden Centre offer a huge range of Christmas ideas, from cards, decorations and gifts to plants, and of course Christmas trees and wreaths. What’s more there’s a unique collection of local arts and crafts products at Bodnant Craft Centre, from jewellery, paintings, ceramics and furniture…and not forgetting Santa, who will be dropping in at Bodnant Garden Centre on December weekends leading up to Christmas.
