Easter fun for families at Bodnant Garden

Girls running among Easter daffodils

The garden is springing into life. Immerse yourselves in nature and make Easter a special time for the whole family.

During the school holidays we’ll have a host of activities for families. Follow our Running Rabbit Trail from March 24 to April 15, using all five senses to discover nature as you stroll around the garden. This is a free, self-led trail; and kids can make more than a dent in their #50Things checklist too, with plenty of opportunities to walk barefoot, hunt for bugs, spot birds and enjoy endless simple, outdoor pleasures.

Over the Easter weekend we’ll running the ever-popular Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt – this time follow the ‘Running Rabbit’ signs and solve the clues to find the chocolate egg! The trail takes place on Sunday and Monday, April 1 and 2, from 11am to 3pm (booking not required, cost £2 per child on arrival.)

Join us for more bunny-inspired activities at the weekends on March 24, 25 and 31 and April 1, 2, 7 and 8 when we’ll be rabbit cookie decorating in the old mill between 11am – 3pm (cost £1).

Of course there’s also 80 acres of world-class garden to explore together. Take in the daffodils in the Old Park meadow, magnolia trees breaking into flower, scented shrubs blossoming and displays of tulips filling herbaceous beds. When you need to refuel and relax there’s hearty refreshment available at our two tearooms, al fresco dining at our Dell and Far End kiosks, and plenty of picnic areas around the garden. Roast dinners will also be available in the Pavilion on Easter Sunday, April 1.

Normal garden admission applies for all events. For further details of events see our What’s On listings here on this website.

We hope you'll join us at Bodnant Garden this Easter time. Your support helps us look after the garden and all our special places, For Ever For Everyone.
