Visit Chirk Castle with a group

A coach group on their way to Chirk Castle

Chirk Castle welcomes group bookings. We can accommodate small and large groups for full-day or half-day general visits, or ‘specialist interest’ groups. We have ample parking and excellent catering facilities to cover most needs.

A warm welcome and a fascinating visit

As well as daily tours and talks, we also offer pre-booked groups a series of extra-special interest tours, for an additional fee.

We have a dedicated coach park on site and can offer an on-board welcome if required (pre-book only)

Please contact our Business Support team for a booking form, on chirkcastle@nationaltrust.org.uk

State rooms

Discover grand interiors with paintings, furniture and symbols of great wealth, and experience the high life of the 1920's in the recently-opened East Wing.

Our team of room guides is on hand to tell you tales of English Civil War heroes, Pugin's Gothic Revival and Lord Howard de Walden’s patronage of Welsh Art.

Medieval marcher fortress and dungeons

Open from 10am, we recommend your visit starts with an exploration of the Adam Tower and a discovery of the castle's early history.

Tranquil gardens

The award-winning gardens at Chirk are wonderful to visit in their own right, as well as being part of a full day’s outing: with rare shrubs and trees, herbaceous borders, a rose garden, scenic views and meandering pathways, the garden is interesting all year round with beautiful colours and scents.
