Father Christmas returns to Chirk Castle to take up residence in his traditional grotto once again. He's brought presents for some very special visitors, so we hope you've been good!

The grotto is available weekends 8&9, 15&16 and 22&23 December 2018. It is located in the castle courtyard. For details of our 'Christmas of make-believe' event runing from 8 to 23 December please see the separate event page.
Tickets for the grotto are £6 each (including booking fee), which includes a visit with Father Christmas and a present. There are 5 tickets available for each 15 minute time slot (please note that the booking system only allows 5 tickets per slot, if you try to add more than this it will give a sold out message).
A normal admission ticket is also required - prices are on our website. For National Trust members normal admission is free.
Please bring your booking confirmation with you to the Ticket Office on the day of your visit and you can collect your grotto pass. There may be a brief wait at the grotto before entry. The grotto is based inside, however the waiting area might be cold so please dress appropriately.
