Framing The Landscape Exhibition

Framing The Landscape

Explore glimpses of the past and the ever changing landscape of Clumber Park with our 'Framing The Landscape' exhibition around our lakeside path.

From June until September, enjoy a chance to see some of Clumber Park's ducal history, and enjoy seeing what life on the park use to be like.

Among these frames are four poems written by a National Trust volunteer, Barbara Fox. Each of the poems are situated near the topic written about to give you a poetic view of the Park.

There is also a giant photo frame that will move locations, with a much larger landscape scale photograph showing some of the biggest lost treasures of the park. Here are the locations that the giant frame will be in:

  • The Lincoln and Chapel
  • The Mansion
  • Duck walk

To get the full effect of the larger frame, simply stand to the open side of the photograph and view the current view of the same landscape.
