Family fun this spring at Croome
Spring has arrived at Croome and there's so much to keep the whole family entertained.
Barbara's Birds - Family Trail
In the 18th Century, the Countess of Coventry kept a collection of beautiful birds in her menagerie. Explore the parkland today as we hunt for feathery clues to create our own collection of wonderful birds - some rare and exotic and some familiar to us all.
The trail runs from Saturday 4 to Thursday 9 April and Tuesday 14 to Sunday 19 April 10am-4pm, £2 per trail including a reward.
Normal admission applies.
Cadbury Egg Hunt - Family Trail
The trail runs from Friday 10 to Monday 13 April 10am-4pm, £3 per trail including a chocolate reward (whilst stocks last), a non-chocolate reward is available. Normal admission applies.
Tree-mendous Trail - Family Trail
A continuation of our February trail. exploring trees around the park now that they are in leaf. Looking at blossom. Revisit favourite trees found in February or discover a new one.
Saturday 23 to Sunday 31 May 2020, 10am to 4pm, £2 per trail with a reward. Normal admission applies.
Natural play area
Have you discovered the natural play area? Children can test their balance on tree trunks, build dens, sit on the wooden throne and scramble over logs amongst the trees - it's also the perfect place to sit at one of the many picnic benches scattered around.
RAF themed playground
Children can let their imagination run wild in the RAF themed playground with a control tower, scramble net, bunker, jeep, slides and swings.
Watch the birds feasting at the feeders and see if you can spot a cheeky squirrel - pick up a free bird spotter sheet from the Visitor Centre on the way.
'50 things to do before you're 11¾'
The Visitor Centre is a great place to pick up your free 50 things activity sheets.
See the giant model in the basement of the house - take it apart and see if you can rebuild it.
Have fun colouring and snuggle up in the reading corner in the activity room in the house.
