Kids love picking their own colourful lunch boxes and choosing which healthy and delicious snacks they’d like to fill them with. They can enjoy their lunch inside or if the weather’s good enjoy a picnic outside.
Children can also choose from their own hot food menu including some smaller versions of our main meals.
A tasty treat
It’s worth trying a slice of our delicious bara brith when you visit, it's our traditional Erddig recipe with fruit soaked in tea overnight to get a bake full of flavour. A cream tea with a home-made fruit scone and clotted cream is always a popular choice.
Our tea parlour serves hot snacks and refreshments during peak periods and on special occasions. A popular treat in here is our local Welsh ice cream from Erbistock, you can choose from honeycomb, fresh raspberry and other assorted flavours.
Nestling next to the former coachman’s house, is our pretty little tea garden which opens during peak periods, when the sun is shining. It’s somewhere to rest after a long walk, or refuel before setting off and serves a good selection of hot drinks, cakes and biscuits. Treat yourself to a cream tea and while away the afternoon. The tea garden is open to visitors to our estate, as well as visitors to the house and garden.
Little red van
Look out for our bright red little Citroen H Van, often found in our natural play area, Wolf’s Den for grown-ups in need of refreshment - and children too. We're now serving a selection of ice creams and barista coffees too.
