Erddig fantastical winter toybox trail

It's time to think outside the toybox this winter and ours is coming to life, larger than life. New for Christmas 2017, Erddig will host a fantastical winter toybox trail.

Think outside the toybox

The toys have escaped their wintry slumber and are exploring Erddig’s 12.5-acre walled gardens.

Follow in the footsteps of our Noah’s ark animals, hide amongst the Russian dolls and dance with our music box ballerina, set in Erddig’s iconic Grade 1 listed garden and outbuildings.

Upstairs and downstairs

From 1 to 24 December you can enter the house to warm yourself by the fire, the scents of mulled wine and festive cooking will fill the air as the house gets ready for Christmas.

Christmas carols

For the first time since we opened in 1977, our recently restored Bevington organ will resonate and fill the air with Christmas carols.
