Go wild in Wolf’s Den for February half term
Join us for a half-term family adventure to celebrate the reopening of our natural play area. Enjoy campfire cooking, woodland fun, St David’s day daffodil crafts and storytelling with Jake Evans.
Our tree roots have been rested and the ranger team has been busy repairing and improving the play space. So hop, skip and jump over and you'll be free to balance on beams, build dens and climb in our natural playground nestled in Big Wood.
Half-term activities include:
- Campfire cooking, Mondays 18 and 25 February
- Jake Evans Storytelling, Wednesday 20 February
- Wild art, Thursdays 21 and 28 February
- Woodland Classroom, Friday 22 February
- St David’s day daffodil crafts, Friday 1 March
Wolf's Den is open throughout half term.
Don't forget to look out for the first signs of spring as you arrive with beautiful and hardy snowdrops growing in the tea garden, along the banks of the west front and beside the path in Moss Walk.
Other signs of spring to look out for are lambs frolicking on the estate, blossom appearing on the trees and flower buds like daffodils and wild garlic beginning to swell.
