Godolphin Bat trail
Lots of different types of bat call Godolphin home. Follow the family bat trail running from Saturday 19 to Sunday 27 October and discover more about bats at Godolphin. Visit the Cider House and watch footage from the 'bat cam' and have a go at some crafts and colouring in.
The orchard at Godolphin is full of apples that need to be collected before winter arrives. Help the gardeners and gather together some apples to take home or put towards Godolphin's autumn harvest.
Professional storyteller Mark Harandon will be at Godolphin this half term on Monday 21, Wednesday 23, Friday 25 and Sunday 27 October, telling spine-tingling spooky tales to intrigue children and adults alike. Meeting in the undercroft - venture in if you dare!
Make the most of your visit
There’s plenty more to explore at Godolphin. Make the most of the autumn sunshine and go for a walk on the wider estate; take in the breath-taking views at the top of Godolphin Hill or take a walk barefoot before the barefoot trail closes at the end of October half term. The Piggery tea-room serves a selection of homemade cakes and hot drinks, the perfect place to warm up and indulge!
