Make the most of the summer holidays outdoors

Children playing in the summer

Summer holidays are the best excuse to be outdoors, whether it's playing games, out looking for wildlife or enjoying the warmer weather. We've got plenty of things for all the family to while away the days.

Adventures big and small

Outdoor explorers of all ages will have great fun discovering the gardens and parkland. There is so much wildlife that call Hardwick home, from bees enjoying the flowers in the garden to dragonflies at the ponds in the parkland.

Summer of Sport

Over the six weeks of summer holdays we are opening up the North Orchard (next to the Hall - what used to be the old car park) as a space for all sorts of sporting activity that everyone can come and have a go at. Amongst the pickings will be rounders, badminton, tennis and football.
