At Stowe we strive to give the best visitor experience whilst growing our visitor numbers to help us raise vital funds to restore the gardens. Each individual job has a direct impact on our charitable cause from selling scones in the cafe to maintaining the garden. With big ambitions to develop, we're growing our team. 

Stowe and the Aylesbury Vale Portfolio

As well as looking after Stowe, we care for a group of properties in the Aylesbury Vale Portfolio: Claydon, Buckingham Chantry Chapel, Boarstall Tower, Boarstall Duck Decoy, Long Crendon Courthouse and King's Head. Some of our roles involve cross-property working which provides you with experience of a breadth of historial eras and property styles, from a Medieval tower to a grand Georgian house. You'll help us achieve our plan as part of a larger group.

Senior Visitor Experience Officer, full time - 12 month post. £23,375 per annum. Working within a project that will see transformation to enhance visitor experinece through emotional, spiritual and intellectual outlets, you'll help design, plan and evaluate new approaches the our eighteenth-century coaching inn and the landscape at Stowe.It's part of an exciting project that involves piloting new ideas and delving deep into our audiences to help build support for the cause.

Cook, full time. £17,023 per annum. With your passion for food and your appetite to provide an exceptional service to your customers, you’ll work with the National Trust Cookbook framework to prepare delicious food. Working with local produce you'll always be looking for ways to minimise waste and control costs and resources. With your attention to detail you’ll ensure each dish is fresh, tasty and beautifully presented every time.
