Imagine arriving to work every day with a breathtaking view that never gets tired or taking your lunch in a tranquil garden. Jobs at Stowe offer rewarding career development, a positive team attitude and an office like no other in 250 acres of Europe's finest landscape gardens.

At Stowe we strive to give the best visitor experience whilst growing our visitor numbers to help us raise vital funds to restore the gardens. Each individual job has a direct impact on our charitable cause from selling scones in the cafe to maintaining the garden. With big ambitions to develop, we're growing our team.

Stowe and the Aylesbury Vale Portfolio

As well as looking after Stowe, we care for a group of properties in the Aylesbury Vale Portfolio: Claydon, Buckingham Chantry Chapel, Boarstall Tower, Boarstall Duck Decoy, Long Crendon Courthouse and King's Head. Some of our roles involve cross-property working which provides you with experience of a breadth of historial eras and property styles, from a Medieval tower to a grand Georgian house. You'll help us achieve our plan as part of a larger group.

Food and Beverage Team Member x4, full time - fixed term, part time. £7.83 per hour.  Applications close 28 August. With your love of working with people, positive attitude and desire to provide an excellent service, you’ll welcome and look after every customer who visits the cafe and Bell Gate Kiosk at Stowe, in this predominately front of house role. Using your excellent attention to detail, you'll ensure all signage is displayed correctly and the food served looks delicious.

As a key member of a busy team, you may also be required to help prepare some of our food in the kitchen. In whatever role you are fulfilling, the National Trust values will always be at the forefront of your mind and you'll be proud to share our good work with our customers to maximise sales so that the profit can be reinvested back into our conservation work.

Spirit of Place

If you're looking to find out a little bit more about what makes Stowe special, you can download our Spirit of Place. This document details the very essence of what Stowe is and our aims in looking after the gardens. It informs everything we do on a daily basis and will help give you some insight into the way we work.
