January well-being at Chirk Castle
Get your 2019 off to a great start with outdoor activities on the Chirk estate, designed to help with wellness and well-being, and get you feeling fantastic. There are guided activities through the month, or take a walks map and spotter sheet and explore the beautiful 480-acre estate. Please note the castle and gardens are closed through January.
Following a bit of festive excess, January is a great time to focus on your own wellness and well-being. What better way to do it than to get outdoors, and reconnect with nature.
Chirk Castle and the gardens are closed for conservation work in January, but we have a beautiful 480 acre estate that is just starting to come to life through the first month of the year. As the month rolls on, if you look carefully, you can see the very first signs of spring starting to appear.
In January 2019 we have guided activities through the month, to help you explore the estate, connect with nature, make new friends and work on your own wellness and well-being. There is: Nordic Walking, Beginner Running, Ranger Rambles, Volunteer Guided Walks, Winter Tree ID, Mindfulness, Drop-in toddler play, Marshmallow toasting, and Family Bushcraft.
You can find out more about each of the activities on our website here: https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/chirk-castle/whats-on
