February half term at Hardcastle Crags
The woodland at Hardcastle Crags offers plenty of space to run around and make your own fun, but if you're looking for something extra, then here's a list of what we'll be doing this half term.
Monday 18 February 12noon-3pm, Wild art;
There are plenty of natural materials on the woodland floor to inspire your creative streak. Come along to our wild art session and make your own stick wand.
Tuesday 19 February 12noon-3pm, Make a bird feeder
Give nature a helping hand this winter and make a bird feeder from recycled materials. We'll provide all the materials but feel free to bring a plastic bottle from home to re-cycle.
Wednesday 20 February 12noon-3pm, Be a ranger for the day
Join our friendly ranger and be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. There'll be fun activities to take part in that are based on practical conservation tasks.
Thursday 21 February 12noon-2pm, Cook on a campfire
We'll be learning how to light a fire without matches, making popcorn and baking our own campfire bread at this popular activity. £4 per child. Booking essential.
Friday 22 February 12noon-3pm, Make a log animal
There are plenty of natural materials on the woodland floor to inspire your creative streak. Come along to our creative session and make a log animal.

Please meet at Gibson Mill and allow at least 30 minutes to walk from the main car parks. All activites (except cooking on a campfire) are drop in session for you to join at any time.
