Dumpdon Hill Fort

How to get to Dumpdon Hill Fort

Address: Dumpdon Lane, near Beacon, Honiton, Devon, EX14.

By cycle: See local cycle routes on the Sustrans website http://www.sustrans.org.uk/.

By bus: Stagecoach 387, Honiton to Monkton, then 1 mile to fort.

By train: Honiton, 3 miles.

By road: From Exeter, head east along A30, turn off at Monkton, then head north along country lanes. No signposts to Dumpdon Hill, but visible from the lanes.

Parking: Dumpdon Hill car park (Free parking, donations welcome, OS ST177042, Coordinates 50.8314610000, -3.1699940000).


A steep walk up to the fortification, flat walk on the summit.
