Walk the East Devon Way

Musbury Hill Fort is located on the East Devon Way, a beautiful inland route that takes in 40 miles of East Devon. There are circular routes off the main route for those looking for short walks taking in beautiful surroundings.

How to get to Musbury Hill Fort

Address: Musbury, Axminster, Devon, EX13.

By cycle: See local cycle routes on the Sustrans website http://www.sustrans.org.uk/.

On foot: Musbury Hill Fort signposted from Musbury village.

By train: Axminister, 3 miles.

By road: From Exeter, travel east along A3052, turning left onto A358. Continue along A358 to Musbury.

Parking: It is best to park in Musbury village and access the fort on foot.  (Musbury village car park, near the church: Not NT, OS SY275945, Coordinates 50.7455600000, -3.0289470000).

By bus: Stagecoach 20, Honiton to Colyton; First X53, Exeter to Seaton; Axe Valley Mini Travel 885, from Axminster, Seaton or Colyton to Musbury, Monday to Friday.

Accessibility

Steep slopes leading up to hill fort. Summit of the hill is fairly flat.
