Festival of the blues at Blickling

Blickling Estate is famous for its bluebells which create carpets of blue throughout the Great Wood and parts of the garden. To celebrate our beautiful bluebell season, we're turning Blickling blue in May.

An afternoon of blues | Saturday 27 May, 3-7pm

Our celebrations will culminate in an afternoon of blues music in the garden.  Bring a rug and a picnic and enjoy music from three local bands; Hot Cold Ground, Goldrusha and Hayley Moyses Britgrass Three.  Tickets can be bought in advance at £11 per adult, £5 per child aged 5-12 years (children under 5 free).

Cafe blues

Alongside our usual catering offer, we'll be serving themed food throughout May including lavender cake and blueberry muffins.  All three of our cafes will be open and there will be refreshments for sale on the parade during our afternoon of blues.

A spot of blue shopping

Pick up some bluebells from the plant centre to take home, buy bluebell postcards from the shop or a bluebell pin badge, especially designed to celebrate our bluebell season and help raise funds for the walled garden.
