Calke's restaurant and café
Our restaurant is open seven days a week from 10am, serving fresh, locally sourced and seasonal delights. Head over to the stableyards and pop in to enjoy the range of delights we have on offer.
Breakfasts are served from 10am to 11:30am. Start your day with a full Calke breakfast, a hearty bowl of porridge or breakfast cob of your choice.
If you’re out for lunch we have a selection of deli rolls and light bites available throughout the day – or why not try a bowl of our freshly made soup of the day? Keep little explorers happy with our kid’s picnics.
Our classic, seasonal main meals are a must if you’re looking for something more filling, served from 12pm to 2.30pm. We use estate-reared meats and home-grown veg to give you a taste of Calke.
Feel free to pop in for a cup of tea and a slice of cake. We have plenty of hot and cold drinks available and a range of home-baked sweet treats to enjoy throughout the day.
The café is open during our peak seasons, serving up tasty snacks and drinks to keep you refreshed during your visit.
Here at Calke, we like to keep things local. A lot of our food is home-grown or reared here on the estate and we try to source everything else as locally as possible.
Our estate-reared meat includes long-horn beef, venison, pork and Portland hogget. We also grow our own herbs, fruits and vegetables in the Physic Garden to use in the kitchen.
