12 days of christmas trail at Chartwell 

Join us on our Christmas family trail here at Chartwell. Trail is on from 21 Nov - 5 Jan, 10am-3pm and costs £1, normal admission applies. Suitable for ages 2-10 years with a buggy friendly route available.

Churchill was an avid amateur painter, painting over 500 canvasses in total, many right here at Chartwell in his studio. Located down in the orchard amongst the apple trees, see the largest single collection of his works hanging from the walls as well as a brand new interactive 'touch-wall'.

A history of Winston Churchill in 50 objects 

Telling the stories of his life and achievements, gain unique insight into one of the most fascinating figures of the 20th century. Exhibition is open daily 10am-4pm in Winter, normal admission applies.

Escape from the hustle and bustle this winter - wrap up warm and get exploring on a walk around the estate at Chartwell. You could even make a whole day of it by walking to our neighbouring National Trust properties, Emmetts Garden and Toys Hill, or stop by the café for a warming drink and hot food on your return.
