Summer holiday adventures in Yorkshire

Keep the kids entertained this summer in Yorkshire. There's something to do every day of the week - build dens or mini rafts, hunt for bugs in the woods, cycling, campfire cooking or even rock pooling to choose from. Here's the best of what's going on during the school holidays.

Fun for families at Fountains Abbey

Have a full day out exploring this amazing place. Get stuck into monastic inspired activities in the abbey and wear a monk's robe, or come and imagine life as a Georgian in Studley Royal water garden. There are different activities throughout the holidays and you can also have a go at pond dipping, making a raft or making your own bread - just like the monks did.
