Community Talks delivered by the Chartwell Team

Within a 20 mile radius of Chartwell, our volunteers are happy to deliver talks about Churchill and Chartwell on a variety of topics at your next community meeting.

Topics

       1. The Churchill family at Chartwell, 1922-today

An introduction to Chartwell, from Sir Winston's purchase of the house in 1922 to the present day.

       2. An introduction to the Churchills and Chartwell

A background to the Churchill family, from the seventeenth century to the twentieth and an introduction to Chartwell as Sir Winston's family home.

       3. Working for the Churchills

A first-hand account of working for the Churchill family for 50 years.

       4. Churchill the Artist

An exploration of Sir Winston's passion for painting and an introduction to some of his works.

Dates and Times

We are able to deliver talks at locations up to 20 miles from Chartwell, unfortunately we are unable to deliver talks at Chartwell.

Talks are led by our volunteers but we will endeavour to meet your preferred dates.

We have our own equipment but do let us know if you can provide projectors, screens, tables etc.

Talks are approximately 60 minutes in total, including time for questions.

We require at least one month's notice for all talk bookings.

Talks are free but we suggest a donation of £50 to support our charitable work.
