Eating at Chartwell
Our café has reopened and serving soup, baguettes, jacket potatoes, sausage rolls and one pot meals. As of 17 May, we now have some limited indoor seating available. We've introduced new safety measures including screens at our till and collection points. We look forward to welcoming you back and know that you'll support us to make this a safe experience to everyone.
How it works...
The café is open daily from 10am - 5pm.
We're serving a range of hot and cold food such as soup, baguettes, jacket potatoes, sausage rolls and one pot meals. Hot and cold drinks and light snacks are also available, ensuring there is always something to satisfy your taste buds. Please note that all items are subject to availability.
There are protective screens at the till and collection points, and hand sanitiser remains available. Card payments is preferred but cash is also accepted.
If you have dietary requirements you may prefer to come prepared, as with a limited offer we can't guarantee that we'd have what you need. We do have a small range of gluten-free snacks available, and soya or oat milk for hot drinks.
Keep an eye out for our ice-cream kiosk as well on weekends and every day of the summer holidays (weather permitting!).
For those with food bought elsewhere or prepared at home, you're welcome to picnic in the grounds where it's safe to do so - there are some picnic tables in the fields by the car park, or you are welcome to picnic on the lawns by the lakes.
Please note that all tables outside the café itself are reserved for food and drink bought from our café only.
We look forward to welcoming you back, and know that you’ll support us to make this a safe experience for everyone.
