Eating at Chartwell
Our café outlet has reopened and will initially be serving a limited range of takeaway hot and cold drinks and some light snacks. We've introduced new safety measures including closure of our seating areas, screens at our till and collection points and waymarked routes. We'll also only be accepting card payment. We look forward to welcoming you back and know that you'll support us to make this a safe experience to everyone.
The café is open from 10am-3pm daily.*
How it works...
We've introduced new measures to help keep everybody safe. The entrance to the cafe is through the door closest to the car park, and you'll find a one-way queueing system for placing and collecting orders. There are protective screens at the till and collection points, and hand sanitiser available.
In line with government guidelines you are required to wear a face covering in our cafés and food outlets in England. Please bring one with you.
Card payments only please, contactless whenever possible, as we cannot currently accept cash with the current tier restrictions.
We're serving hot and cold drinks, bakes and light snacks. Please note that all items are subject to availability.
If you have dietary requirements you may prefer to come prepared, as with a limited offer we can't guarantee that we'd have what you need. We do have a small range of gluten-free snacks available, and soya or oat milk for hot drinks.
For those with food bought elsewhere or prepared at home, you're welcome to picnic in the grounds where it's safe to do so - there are some picnic tables in the fields by the car park, or you are welcome to picnic on the lawns by the lakes.
For the safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors we have removed the outdoor seating outside the cafe, however there are still benches inside the garden that can be used.
We look forward to welcoming you back, and know that you’ll support us to make this a safe experience for everyone.
