Eating at Chartwell

Woman holding takeaway hot drink

The Landemare cafe is now open serving hot and cold drinks, and light lunches, like sandwiches, pasties, sausage rolls and some light snacks such as crisps, scones and cakes. Limited indoor seating is available and visitors must order before taking a seat.

The cafe is open from 10am-4pm daily.

How it works...

We've introduced new measures to help keep everybody safe. The entrance to the cafe is from the courtyard, beside the shop and toilets, and you'll find a one-way queueing system for placing and collecting orders. There are protective screens at the till and collection points, and hand sanitiser available. We can only accept card payments, contactless whenever possible.

Limited indoor seating is available with china crockery and visitors are required to order before finding a seat. Tables are for paying visitors only.

We're serving hot and cold drinks, hot lunches, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, pasties, sausage rolls, cakes, scones, crisps, confectionary and ice cream. Please note that all items are subject to availability.

If you have dietary requirements you may prefer to come prepared, as with a limited offer we can't guarantee that we'd have what you need. We do have a small range of gluten-free snacks available, and soya or oat milk for hot drinks.

For those with food bought elsewhere or prepared at home, you're welcome to use our outside seating area or picnic in the grounds where it's safe to do so - there are some picnic tables in the fields by the car park, or you are welcome to picnic on the lawns by the lakes.

In line with government guidelines you are required to wear a face covering in our shops, cafés and food outlets in England from 24 July. Please bring one with you.
