Explore Ickworth this winter
Blow away the cobwebs and explore everything Ickworth has to offer this winter. From welly walks through carpets of snowdrops to half term fun and activities, there is something for everyone.
To help walk off the Christmas indulgence, Ickworth has 1,800 acres to explore so why not head further afield and discover some new views this winter?
Some of our most popular walks during the winter include, the multiuse trail, Geraldine's Walk and the Italianate garden.
Follow the path along Lady Geraldine's Walk, as well as The Albana Walk, where snowdrops are complemented by the golden glow of aconites. If it's carpets of white you are looking for, Ickworth is the place to visit. Don't forget to bring your camera for those all-important snowdrop photos, then share them online tagging #Ickworthsnowdrops. Keep an eye on our social channels for details on when to come and visit, but here are a few of our highlights:
October - December | Head on the Albana Walk for a beautiful sight of autumn snowdrops, Reginae-Olgae, planted four years ago and looking promising for this autumn,
February - March | Geraldine's Wood is a delight in winter. Look out for the different Suffolk varieties
March - April | Don't miss our display of Snowflake snowdrops, which are interspersed with orchids, tulips and sometimes even bluebells
