With fourteen teams taking part in 2017s touch rugby tournament on Marazion beach, the game is back on for 2018! Save the date for Saturday 14 July 2018 from 9am.
The National Trust in West Cornwall and RFU England invite you to the fourth annual Duchy Seven Nations Touch Rugby Tournament on Marazion Beach, Saturday 14 July 2018.
With iconic St. Michael's Mount as a dramatic backdrop, people of all ages and abilities are welcome to take part in the tournament, choosing which of the six Nations...or Cornwall to represent.
For those who don't fancy trying the rugby, the whole family is welcome to come along and cheer on the teams. There will be other sporting activities to take part in, including Archery GB's 'Arrows', beach volleyball and rock pooling discovering the wildlife that lurks on the beach.
Make sure you're quick to reserve your team's place in the 2018 tournament by booking your place.... booking details coming soon.
Experienced and novice players, male and female, are all welcome, with a minimum age of 9 years. You'll need ten players for your team, so that five can rest whilst five are on the pitch. The full rules will be available here before the end of February, but make sure you save the date today.
The funds from this event go towards the National Trust's work as a conservation charity, looking after special places for ever, for everyone. If you'd like to support the work of the National Trust, you'll soon be able to create your own JustGiving fundraising page for the Seven Nations Tournament. We'll keep you posted!
