Let off steam in Wolf's Den

Enjoy hours of fun in Wolf’s Den, our natural play area. Let your little explorer’s run wild as they wobble over balance beams, let loose on rope swings or have a go at building a den out of sticks. There’s nothing quite like playing outdoors.

What refreshments are available?

The Parlour in the Midden Yard will be serving takeaway hot and cold drinks, some light snacks and ice cream. We’ve introduced new safety measures including closure of our seating areas, screens at our till and collection points, and waymarked routes. We’ll also only be accepting card payment. We look forward to welcoming you back and know that you’ll support us to make this a safe experience for everyone. Picnics are also welcome.

A variety of cermics from the Courtyard Shop at Powis Castle and Garden laid out on a kitchen worktop.

In need of some retail therapy?

Our shop is open 11am-4pm (closed Tues & Weds) but our Second-Hand Bookshop remains closed. To keep everyone safe we’ve introduced social distancing measures and will only be accepting card payments. Every penny spent in our shop remains at Erddig, helping us to continue looking after this special place for everyone, for ever – thank you.
